NSFCloud For Everyone Workshop

The National Science Foundation Workshop on the use of advanced NSF Cloud facilities by institutions which focus on underserved communities (NSF Cloud for Everyone) is tentatively scheduled for  November 10-11 at Georgia Tech in Atlanta, GA.    The Workshop is intended for professors teaching under or graduate systems courses at institutions which serve underserved communities.  The NSF Cloud for Everyone Workshop will feature a tutorial on the use of the two NSF Cloud facilities CloudLab (http://www.cloudlab.us) and Chameleon (http://www.chameleoncloud.org) conducted by training staff from those projects, and participants will develop the classroom materials (assignments, lectures, projects) that can be used to offer advanced undergraduate and graduate computer systems students access to these facilities.

There is no registration fee.  We expect to offer travel grants pending availability of funds.  Attendance is limited, and the workshop is expected to be over-subscribed.  Those interested in attending should register at: http://cloudlab.us/rsvp and provide a brief one-paragraph submission describing the course(s) they teach that would benefit from the use of a Cloud facility.
